State IT Director
We are seeking talent to help lead Democrats up and down the ticket to victory in 2024. We are looking for highly motivated, passionate, and talented State IT Directors to manage IT in their state, in concert with the DNC’s national IT team. We are looking for folks with a variety of backgrounds and experience and are dedicated to building a team that looks like America. These roles will be based in states across the country, and will require in person work.
Key Responsibilities & Expectations:
- Oversee device deployment and management for State staff, in concert with DNC’s national IT Team
- Maintain State DNC HQ Office infrastructure
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex technical hardware and/or software issues.
- Collaborate with departments in state to create functional processes and systems for relevant hardware and software
- Manage in state tech support needs
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in a technical support role.
- Strong technical implementation & troubleshooting background.
- Deep knowledge of software, hardware, networks, and other IT systems.
- Knowledge or experience in Information Security preferred.
- Previous political campaign experience preferred.
- Willing to relocate to a battleground state
