National States Organizing Desk
Description
The DNC is hiring National Organizing States Desks. The OSD will primarily function as a communicator between States and HQ by facilitating the relationship between States’ General Election Directors and the national campaign. They are responsible for ensuring smooth operations of national systems by coordinating with state and HQ leadership to drive accountability and performance. They will collaborate with a wide range of colleagues both on state teams and at HQ across a variety of departments and functions. At their core, the National Organizing States Desk is a communicator and connector, who loves working with others to develop solutions to challenges, and building relationships rooted in driving growth.
Responsibility Breakdown
- Serve as the primary touch point between a region of state organizing programs and national organizing leadership.
- Synthesize cross-region and state insights to develop recommendations, work with training to design content and workshops, and teach them in states or regions to fix targeted skills gaps.
- Collaborate with General Election Directors and the Training & Leadership Development team to develop recommendations, deliver training and coaching content, and implement target interventions
- Supports states General Election Directors and their teams in hiring hundreds of positions across their states
- Delivers customized support for states in the form of tailored materials, deep performance analysis and fact-finding, and data driven program reviews.

Travel Required: High, 50%
Salary: The starting salary for this position is $96,000, on an annualized basis, commensurate with experience and qualifications. This is a full-time position that may require work on weekends and has an end date of November 15, 2024.This is an exempt position.
