Overview:
The Democratic National Committee is seeking an Analytics Training Lead to support the Biden campaign and Democrats up and down the ballot. This person will lead training and documentation for the analysis, reporting, and data orchestration tools being used on the Presidential and Coordinated campaigns. We are looking for folks with a variety of backgrounds and experience, and are dedicated to building a team that looks like America.
Key Responsibilities:
- Train analytics staff of varying technical abilities (folks just learning SQL to expert Python coders) in states and in Wilmington HQ on the campaign’s tech stack for the 2024 cycle.
- Lead the creation of training materials and documentation to facilitate onboarding for new hires.
- Weigh in on documentation for tools and products created by other Analytics verticals.
- Facilitate feedback and communication between tool users and Engineers.
- Collaborate with Engineering team to scope and prioritize improvements to the tech stack
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience applying data and advanced analytics tools in a political setting.
- Experience rolling out new technical tools or processes within large teams.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience, both in writing and verbally.
Additional Useful Skills & Qualifications:
- Fluency in SQL and Python.
- Experience working on a state coordinated data team.
The salary for this position is $110,000, on an annualized basis. This position is in the bargaining unit represented by SEIU Local-500.
