The DNC is hiring a Project Manager for Distributed Organizing. The Project Manager will be responsible for driving significant cross-functional processes; tracking projects, milestones, and successes; and collaborating and influencing across departments to move programs and projects forward. The PM will work closely with the DNC’s National Distributed program to ensure the optimal day-to-day functioning of the distributed program, facilitate coordination and communication with other departments in the organization, and coordinate across key external partners to drive voter contact efforts for key elections and constituencies in 2024.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Establish highly functional and efficient operational processes for the department.
  • Manage reporting processes out on short- and long-term projects to key i stakeholders
  • Assist with hiring, onboarding, and personnel management of department
  • Organize, optimize, and facilitate team meetings as needed
  • Assist with maintenance of distributed goals, reporting, script libraries
  • Support and drive strong cross-functional relationships and processes across data, communications, voter protection, and research
  • Other duties as assigned to support the department and the DNC's mission
 

You’ll be a good fit for this role if…

  • 3-4 years of relevant experience 
  • You’ve got strong organizational skills and can effectively and efficiently manage multiple projects at once in high-pressure environments
  • You’re a born executor– driving projects and all their nitty, gritty details from beginning to end excites you.
  • You’re an excellent communicator, especially with stakeholders -- your peers describe you as “good at managing up.”
  • You’ve got experience with project management platforms like Monday/Asana etc.
  • No task is too small - you are as comfortable chasing approvals for copy as you are building a script tracker for ballot chase.

Travel Required: Low, 10%
